1. Freedom of Movement/Visa Not Required
Many countries allows Freedom of Movement for British Citizens under which no British national would require any Visa to visit or stay there. However, there are few countries where Visa is not required for a certain time period if they are British nationals.
2. Visa on arrival
British citizens can apply for Visa on arrival when they visit some countries. Under this scheme, they don’t have to wait for Visa approval before their trip but instead they can follow a hassle free system at the airport of the foreign country and apply for a visa.
3. Visa required before arrival
British nationals would require to attain Visa before arrival at the traveling country. They need to apply for Visa and get it approved beforehand to board the plane to the traveling country.
4. Pre-approved Visa pickup on arrival
Although it is same as visa required before arrival, under pre-approved Visa scheme, the British citizens can get it approved beforehand but don’t need to carry it along. They can get the pre-approved visa on arrival.
